Brown Sugar Acorn Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 acorn squash, halved and seeded

  • 2 tsp butter

  • 2 Tbs brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Spread butter on the meat of the squash, sprinkle brown sugar and salt on top.

Place both halves face-up on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes. Check for doneness before serving.

Note

The cooking process can be sped up by microwaving it for 3–5 minutes first.
