Hootanannys (German Pancakes)

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 Tbs butter

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

For serving: syrup, berries, jam

Directions

Preheat oven to 425˚ F.

Beat ingredients together for 5 minutes in blender or mixer until frothy.

Melt butter in 9x13” Pyrex pan.

Pour mixture into buttered pan and bake for 20 minutes.

Notes

Beat fast and a lot to get air into them so they poof up properly, otherwise you will end up with a dense & flat pancake.
