Grilled Salmon

Recipe from John

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets or 1/2 salmon, depending on how much you need.

  • Lemons sliced - 2-3 slices/fillet

  • Salt - approx 1/8 tsp/fillet

  • Worcestershire sauce - a few good shakes/fillet

  • Olive oil - a good drizzle/fillet

  • Fresh chopped rosemary - approx 1/8 tsp/fillet

  • Fresh ground black pepper - approx 1/4+ tsp/fillet

Directions

Take salmon out and get to room temperature. Turn grill on ~400˚ F.

John makes an aluminum tray to place salmon on the grill. Arrange lemon slices on tray to place salmon on.

Add salt and Worcestershire sauce. Let sit for 15 mins max.

Add olive oil, pepper and rosemary to salmon.

Grill the salmon to the grill and cook until done, about 12-15 mins or until the white fats start showing. Check interally with fork.

Remove from grill, loosely tent with foil and let rest 5 min.

Note

The black pepper mellows during the grill, blacken the fish as much as you want! John has made it with and without pepper for kids, they always eat the peppered.
