Soft Popcorn Balls

Recipe from Jogie Lacatoure

Ingredients

  • cup unpopped popcorn

  • 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

  • 1 cup margarine, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Pop popcorn, keep warm.

In a medium saucepan, melt fat then add Karo, and sugar, and nuts.

Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce to medium 6-8 minutes. Add vanilla last.

Drizzle syrup over popcorn and mix. Shape into balls with slightly damp hands, wrap individually in plastic.
