Poppycock Popcorn

Recipe from Jogie Lacatoure

Ingredients

  • cup unpopped popcorn

  • 1 cup mixed nuts OR raw peanuts

  • 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

  • 1 cup margarine, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Pop popcorn, keep warm.

In a medium saucepan, melt fat then add Karo, sugar, and nuts (if raw peanuts).

Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce to medium 9–10 minutes. Add vanilla last.

Mix popcorn with nuts if not previously. Drizzle syrup over popcorn and mix. Spread out on pans to cool.
