Crispie Puff Bears

Ingredients

  • 1 bag puffed rice

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter

  • 1 3/4 cups light Karo syrup

  • 1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand milk

  • Bear mold (or use hands to make into balls)

Directions

Place puffed rice in bowl. In saucepan, add sugar, Karo and butter. Boil for 3 minutes and remove from heat.

Add milk, boil 3 more minutes. Pour hot mixture over puffed rice and mix till well coated.

Slightly dampen hands, mold into balls. Wrap in plastic to store.

Mom used a bear mold, then tied a red ribbon around each bears neck and used two mini chocolate chips for the eyes. Awwww, Mom.
