Steak Stroganoff

Ingredients
2 pound flank steak
2 Tbs butter
4 cups onion, sliced in rings
12 slices French bread
Horseradish sauce
Dashes paprika
Marinade
2/3 cup beer
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
Mix marinade ingredients in shallow dish. Poke holes in steak to tenderize and take in marinade, place in dish. Cover overnight in refrigerator or for several hours.
Drain off marinade before cooking.
Sauté onions.
Broil steak 3” from heating element for 5–7 minutes on each side. Thinly slice meat across grain.
Lightly butter slices of bread and broil untll golden. In a small skillet, melt butter. Add onions and cook till tender.
Arrange meat slices over two pieces of bread. Top with onions. Top with horseradish sauce and dash of paprika.
