Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can pineapple, drained (opt)

Sauce

  • ½ cup water

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • 1 Tbs ketchup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350˚ F.

Mix meatball ingredients together. Shape into small meatballs.

Cook the meatballs on a cookie sheet in oven for 15 minutes or until well browned.

In the meantime, cook sauce ingredients together in a saucepan until heated.

Add to heated sauce and warm together. Serve.
