Szechwan Green Beans
Recipe from Kiki (Squatters)
Ingredients
1 pound long fresh green beans
Garlic salt, to taste
Equal parts, to taste
Black bean garlic sauce (umami)
Sambal oleck (spicy)
Plum sauce (sweet)
For serving: shredded carrots and shredded red cabbage
Directions
Mix black bean sauce, plum sauce and sambal oleck in equal parts then adjust to your taste.
Sauté green beans in pan until slightly blistered and salt.
Just before serving, sauté green beans until piping hot. Toss beans in a mixing bowl with sauce.
