Rum Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 egg yolks

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 3 Tbs rum

Directions

Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Place in a double boiler and slowly add cream.

Cook, stirring constantly until thick.

Remove from heat, cool slightly and add rum.

Notes

Great on bread pudding, ice cream, cake, pancakes, waffles, and crepes.
