Grammie’s Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs oil

  • 2 to 2 ½ pounds ground beef

  • 1 pound sweet Italian sausage

  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic

  • 3 large onions, chopped

  • 3 cans tomato sauce

  • 2 cans tomato paste

  • 6 plus additional cans water mixed with Schilling spaghetti sauce mix

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 3 tsp oregano

  • 3 tsp sweet basil

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 1 tsp cumin

Directions

Put oil in pan, sauté garlic and onion, cook meats. Put everything else in the pot an simmer for 2–3 hours.
