Spinach Bread Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed

  • 1 ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 packet Knorr vegetable soup mix (recipe below)

  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, finely chopped

  • 3 green onions, finely chopped

Bread round

For serving: Assorted veggies, bread cubes

Directions

Squeeze spinach to remove excess water. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours. 

Hollow out bread round for bowl, reserving interior. Tear reserved bread into bite-sized pieces. Put in a ziplock until ready to served to keep from drying out.

Homemade Knorr soup mix

Combine

  • 2 Tbsp dried minced onion

  • 2 tsp dried parsley

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 2 Tbsp chicken bouillon
