Queso Blanco Dip
Recipe from Kiki & Boo (Flathead Lake)
Ingredients
1/2 lb white American cheese (not Velveeta)
2 Tbs chopped green chiles (canned or frozen)
1 Tbs pickled jalepeño sliced, diced fine
1 Tbs juice from pickled jalepeños
1/3 c whole milk
1/4 c water
Dash cumin
For serving: corn chips
Directions
Add ingredients into a microwave-safe medium sized bowl.
Microwave for 5 mins, stilling every minute. Queso will be watery at first, keep cooking until thickened.
Serve hot, microwave a minute or so as needed for consistency.
