Queso Blanco Dip

Recipe from Kiki & Boo (Flathead Lake)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb white American cheese (not Velveeta)

  • 2 Tbs chopped green chiles (canned or frozen)

  • 1 Tbs pickled jalepeño sliced, diced fine

  • 1 Tbs juice from pickled jalepeños

  • 1/3 c whole milk

  • 1/4 c water

  • Dash cumin

For serving: corn chips

Directions

Add ingredients into a microwave-safe medium sized bowl.

Microwave for 5 mins, stilling every minute. Queso will be watery at first, keep cooking until thickened.

Serve hot, microwave a minute or so as needed for consistency.
