Mustard Ring

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs dry mustard

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 2/3 cup vinegar

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 Tbs gelatin

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Directions

Beat eggs until light and lemon colored.

In a separate bowl, blend sugar and mustard, then add eggs. Add vinegar and cook on a double boiler until the consistency of custard.

Soak gelatin in water and add saucepan mixture. 

Whip the cream, add once mixture is thick. 

Pour into a ring mold and chill until set.

Note

Excellent with baked ham.
