Aunt Evelyn’s Cake Brownies

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 cup sugar

  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate 

  • ½ cup milk 

  • 1 ¼ cups unsifted flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla 

  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped (opt)

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • Powdered sugar to top

Directions

Preheat oven to 375˚ F.

Dissolve chocolate in milk in a pan of water on the stove. Then allow to cool.

Beat eggs then gradually add sugar. Beat for 15 minutes on medium-high. Add all ingredients except melted butter, add that last. Bake for 30 minutes.

Once cooled, sprinkle top with powdered sugar and serve.
