Chocolate Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box Angel Food cake mix

  • 1 pint whipping cream

  • 1/3 cup chocolate milk/hot chocolate mix

  • 2 Tbs sugar (if you want it sweeter)

  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp almond extract

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, walnuts OR chocolate curls to put on top (opt)

Directions

Make cake according to directions on box and cool upsidedown. Beat whipping cream until it holds its shape slightly and add Nestle’s Quik and sugar. Beat to blend and firm up the cream. Fold in almond extract. Chill until ready to use.

Cut cake in 3 layers. Frost between each layer and frost the entire cake with the chocolate whipping cream.

Sprinkle on the nuts or chocolate curls and chill throughly.
