About Us

This collection began simply enough—as an effort to organize our favorite family recipes. As the family’s graphic designer (and permanently tethered to my Mac), it felt natural for me to gather, recreate, and design each recipe into a single book. But in true Bills family fashion, once word spread, the project quickly grew.

Suddenly, everyone had a contribution: a must-include recipe, a favorite story, design opinions, title votes, and of course, the familiar refrain—“Wait, Kim! I have just one more recipe you need to add.”

Three years later, voilà—Peaches & Toast was born.

Inside are the recipes we love, a few that may not be favorites but are tradition nonetheless (Pink Pears? Tomato Aspic Salad?), and newer additions that reflect how we now cook for our own families and gatherings.

All in all, this collection captures the recipes that have carried us from childhood to today.
